For the Basic Package Plus and Signing Agent packages we offer stamp options for notaries who prefer certain styles of stamps. The kits both come with two stamps, a self-inking stamp #133 and a pre-inked travel stamp, the Basic Package Plus with stamp #224 and the Signing Agent kit with #223.

Description of the Stamps:
#133 is the Self-Inking Regular Size stamp. It has a built in ink pad. If you do not choose an optional stamp, this is the stamp that will come with the kit. It is very easy to use and likes a firm push on the handle. The disadvantage of this stamp is that it uses a traditional rubber impression pad. The details on the lettering and especially on the state seal will be soft, the edges will not be crisp. If you want a stamp that is easy to use, this is the best choice.
#225 is a pre-inked stamp. It has an ink resevoir. Like the self inking stamp, it inks itself after each use. Because of the technology, the stamp impression size can be smaller and a lot of detail is shown. The advantage is both a smaller impression size and crisp lettering and art work. The disadvantage is that the stamp needs a flat surface, the notary should practice with the stamp to apply the right amount of pressure, and if the stamp is pressed too hard, it will let too much ink through to the paper.
#117 is a pre-inked travel stamp stamp in a small size body but with a full impression. The advantage to this stamp is the ability to easily carry it in a pocket yet get crisp and clear full size impressions. The disadvantage is that it does have a full size impression which is easy to read but harder to fit into tiny spaces. It also takes a little practice to be able to stamp with the amount of pressure that this stamp requires.
